The book is published by Orbita Media GmbH, Ericusspitze 4, 20457 Hamburg, Germany, which supplies it to us; please send cancellations, withdrawals and returns to us, not to the publisher.

1. Cancelling a pre-order before shipment (everyone)

Every edition in this store is a pre-order. You can cancel your order at any time before it is shipped (for the eBook: before it is delivered), for any reason, at no cost.

Email info@orbita-payments.com with your order number and the words "cancel my order". We refund the full amount you paid, including shipping, within 7 business days of receiving your message, using the payment method you used for the order.

2. If we are late

If we cannot ship by October 31, 2026, we email you before that date with a revised shipping date and the choice to accept the delay or to cancel and receive a full refund. The details are in section 4 of our Terms of Service.

3. Returns after delivery (everyone)

You may return a printed book within 14 days of delivery if it is in the condition in which you received it. Email info@orbita-payments.com first, and we will confirm the return address. You pay the cost of sending the book back, unless the book is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, in which case we pay. Once the book reaches us, or once you send us proof that you sent it back, we refund the purchase price within 14 days using the payment method you used for the order.

The eBook cannot be returned once it has been delivered, except where the statutory right of withdrawal in section 4 applies.

4. Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK)

If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract. The following instructions follow the statutory model.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last of the goods. For the eBook, which is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the period expires 14 days after the day the contract was concluded.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at the address above, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The eBook and your right of withdrawal

We do not ask you to waive your right of withdrawal for the eBook, and we do not treat it as lost when the eBook is delivered. If you withdraw within the 14 day period, you get a full refund even if the eBook has already been delivered to you. You are then asked to delete your copy.

5. Faulty, damaged or lost deliveries

If your parcel arrives damaged, incomplete or faulty, or if it does not arrive at all, email info@orbita-payments.com. We replace the item or refund it, including all delivery costs, and we pay for the return. This is in addition to your statutory rights and to the right of withdrawal in section 4.

6. Statutory rights

The statutory rights of consumers, including the statutory guarantee for goods that are not as described or not of satisfactory quality, are not affected by this policy.

7. How refunds are made

Refunds are always made to the payment method used for the order (card, PayPal or one of the other methods offered in the checkout). Depending on your bank or payment provider, it can take a few further days until the money appears on your statement. We never charge a fee for a refund.
