Shipping policy

This policy applies to every order placed at https://inyourcornerbook.com. The seller and merchant of record is Orbita Payments Limited, Room 01, 26th Floor, Working View Commercial Building, 21 Yiu Wa Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, email support@inyourcornerbook.com. The books are published and supplied by Orbita Media GmbH, Ericusspitze 4, 20457 Hamburg, Germany.

1. Pre-order shipping window

Every edition offered in this store is a pre-order. The book is not published yet and is not in stock. Publication date: October 22, 2026. We expect to ship pre-ordered printed books within 9 days of publication, by October 31, 2026, and to deliver them no later than November 30, 2026. The eBook is delivered by email on publication day, October 22, 2026. You pay in full when you place your order, and you can cancel at any time before your order is shipped (for the eBook: before it is delivered) and receive a full refund.

You receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your parcel is handed over to the carrier. If we cannot ship by October 31, 2026, we email you before that date with a revised date and the choice to accept the delay or to cancel your order for a full refund (Terms of Service, section 4).

2. Where we ship

We currently ship to the United States, Austria and Germany. Orders to Austria and Germany are shipped from Germany. More countries are coming soon.

If your country is not on this list, printed books cannot be delivered there at the moment.

3. Shipping costs

At the time of writing, standard shipping to the United States is free of charge on orders of USD 49.00 or more (order value of the items, before shipping). Below that, shipping to the United States costs USD 4.99 per order. Standard shipping to Germany is free of charge on orders of EUR 49.00 or more (order value of the items, before shipping). Below that, shipping to Germany costs EUR 4.99 per order. Shipping to Austria costs EUR 9.00 per order, whatever the size of the order. The shipping cost that applies to your order is always shown in the checkout before you pay.

4. Delivery times

Printed books are sent with a tracked service. How long a parcel takes depends on the destination and on the carrier. We ship by October 31, 2026 and commit to delivery no later than November 30, 2026.

5. Customs duties, import taxes and VAT

Orders to Germany and Austria are shipped from Germany, within the European Union. No customs duties or import taxes apply to them. Prices for these countries are in euros and include the VAT of the country of delivery; the VAT included is shown in the checkout.

6. Delivery address, failed deliveries, lost parcels

  1. Please check your delivery address before you place the order. If an address is wrong or incomplete, email support@inyourcornerbook.com as soon as possible; as long as the parcel has not been handed over to the carrier, we can correct it.
  2. If a parcel comes back to us because it could not be delivered, we contact you and either send it again or refund it.
  3. If a parcel is lost in transit, we replace it or refund it. Tell us within a reasonable time after the expected delivery date so that we can investigate with the carrier.
  4. Parcels are shipped to the address given in the order. For orders paid with PayPal we ship to the address shown in the PayPal transaction.

7. The eBook

The eBook is not shipped. It is delivered by email on October 22, 2026, to the email address used for the order. Please make sure that the address is correct and that our messages are not filtered out.
